The 2022 Mercedes AMG GT 53 combines the performance, aggressiveness, and race-car handling of the GT (2-door coupe), but with a rear with two bucket seats.

Four individual seats offer a wide range of comfort and performance enhancements. Rear-cabin options include a 3-passenger seat, or twin power seats plus a console with its own touchscreen.

This five-door coupe uses an AMG enhanced 3.0-L inline-6 turbo engine with an EQ Boost system and puts out 429 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque.

The engine is coupled to a 9-speed “Speedshift” TCT transmission and capable of a sprint to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds.  Although, it feels more like 3-seconds flat zero to 60. An electronically controlled spoiler deploys in five stages of angle and height based on speed and driving mode selection.
